Senior Batch Programmer Analyst
Columbus, OH
3 year long contract
Skype interview is ok.
On call rotation once every 7 weeks.
MUST have Autosys experience.
Summary:
Under direct supervision, modifies automated batch jobs and job flows from detailed specifications. Codes, tests, debugs, documents, and maintains automated batch
jobs and job flows. Assists with writing functional requirements, designing batch jobs
and flows, developing test plans and supporting production issues. Monitors and fulfills requests to modify batch schedules. Ensures ServiceNow queue is worked in a timely manner. Provides rotating on-call and production system support.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
5-8 years of experience in programming and systems analysis; good written and oral
communication skills; experience in one or more of the following: SQL, SQR, batch
development, UNIX/LINUX shell scripting, Perl, AutoSys or other automated batch.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems or Computer and Information Science or Business Administration; experience in a university setting.
